In line with our ambitious plans for growth and expansion, we opened a new R&D hub in Stockholm (Kungsholmen) in January 2024. Recruitment is continuously underway for what will be an important site for the future of cutting- edge technology at Axis.

In our new dynamic R&D hub in Stockholm, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of something new from the ground up. In this dynamic, startup-like environment, you’ll make an impact while being supported by a stable, global company, says Katarina In de Betou, Site Manager Axis Stockholm.
The new R&D hub, situated in the western area of Kungsholmen, Stockholm, will be home to several key engineering competencies and product areas, such as ASIC design, hardware product design, QA, and software development. We see Stockholm as an important long-term investment into our growing future and an addition to our current Swedish R&D footprint with sites in Linköping and Lund.
During 2024 we have built a dynamic, dedicated, and highly skilled initial core team, which will act as a stepping-stone to around 100 colleagues within a couple of years. From there we hope to grow in size to allow us to further expand.

Research and Development (R&D) is what fuels Axis innovation

Research and Development (R&D) is what fuels Axis innovation, which is why we are proud to continue to invest so heavily in breaking the boundaries of network technology. 2023 we generated sales of almost 16 billion SEK, of which 18% was reinvested back into R&D, allowing us to remain an industry leader in network technology and continue developing high quality products and services.
